VOICE project workshops
Fundación Diagrama, as partner of the VOICE Project, has organised two workshops developed by this Erasmus+ project in a number of the centres and services it manages during recent months. The workshops were held in order to promote the voice of young people in the European Union and in their own communities.
In the first workshop, the young people acquired a better understanding of the values, the project, and the policies of the European Union, and how these influence their daily life, through both individual and group activities. In this way, young people could feel the European institutions closer to their daily lives and learn how to have a voice in them as European citizens.
The second workshop was entirely based on the active participation of the young people, asking them to reflect upon how they would like their community to be, what obstacles they would face in achieving these improvements and what they could put forth to overcome them. In the end, they developed an improvement plan for their community with all of these elements.
Workshops participants from the Madrid Programme of Support for Work Insertion (PAIS)
The first service to test these workshops was the Madrid Programme of Support for Work Insertion (PAIS), subsidised by the Agency for the Reeducation and Reintegration of Minors in Conflict with the Law (ARRMI). After this experience, other centres managed by Fundación Diagrama have also organised, or are organising, these two workshops with young people. Thanks to the evaluation of its contents and dynamics by staff and young people, the project’s partner organisations can improve them.
These workshops have also been tested in the other VOICE partner countries: Portugal, Romania, United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands and Lithuania.

Third Meeting of the VOICE Project in Romania
Between the 10th and 11th November, the third transnational partner meeting took place in Baia Mare (Romania), hosted by the two partner organisations from Romania, Vis Juventum Association and Baia Mare Prison.
During the meeting, the partner organisations addressed the activities of the project they will carry out over the coming months: workshops, youth dialogue meetings with decision makers in their communities, multiplier events to disseminate the VOICE project nationally, a youth mobility in Strasbourg to get to know European Union institutions, and the project’s final conference in Lisbon. They also discussed key issues related to the management, dissemination and quality evaluation of the project.
