Fundación Diagrama develops numerous initiatives to address the needs of families via prevention, guidance, training and intervention programmes. The main aim of these services is to provide comprehensive assistance to whole families and their individual members, and to improve the relationships they have with each other.
These services are focused on three main areas:
- Situations of conflict in the family environment
- The processes of adoption/foster care
- Family meeting points
Fundación Diagrama has established a Family Research Unit that works holistically within this field. Their work consists of analysis and development of projects and initiatives that offer effective, viable solutions to the main problems which arise in the family environment, particularly in those cases where there is or could be violence between parents and children.
In order to develop these resources, Fundación Diagrama works with a team of psychologists, social workers, social educators, teachers, doctors and other professionals with vast experience in this type of project. Thanks to the work carried out by this multidisciplinary team, more than 7800 families receive specialised care and support from Fundación Diagrama every year.
